After graduating from UNL in 1991, I attended mortuary science school in Dallas, Texas. Upon completion, I returned to Blair and worked with my parents, who own funeral homes in Eastern Nebraska/Western Iowa. In 1995 Karen Hunt and I were married. We have 2 children; Whitney (9) and Alec (7). In 1996, I made a career change and started working with Karen's family business, HunTel Systems. We have recently restructured some of our company holdings and I am working at Mid America Computer Corporation (MACC). We have 230 wonderful employees who help produce approximately one million telephone/cable TV/Internet/wireless bills every month.
I enjoy spending time with my family. Whitney just completed the 3rd grade. She absolutely loves school. Alec was born with Down Syndrome, but is a very energetic, healthy little boy. Everyday is a happy adventure for Alec, as he feels each day should be filled with a long continuous recess.
When not working or with the family, I continue to be an avid golfer, and try to play whenever possible
