Susan Thompson Obituary
Susan A. Thompson, 37
Former Blair resident Susan A. Thompson, 37, of Fremont, died Saturday, Nov. 25, 2006, at Arbor Manor Nursing Home in Fremont.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, at Arbor Manor. Private family interment of her cremains will be held at a later date.

Susan Ann Thompson was born June 10, 1969, in Castro Valley, Calif., to Robert and Barbara Thompson.

She graduated from Blair High School in 1987, and attended Dana College for two years. She worked for the Omaha Public Power District in the customer relations department until her disability kept her home.

She enjoyed her daughter, friends and her cats very much. She moved to Arbor Manor in 2001.

She is survived by her daughter, Lauren, of Omaha; siblings and their spouses, Carolyn and Wayne Anderson of Blair, Linda and Douglas Schmucker of Placerville, Calif., Roberta and Ken Bradley of Washington state, Robert Winningham of Tracy, Calif., Stuart Thompson of California; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Donald Thompson.

Memorials may be directed to muscular sclerosis research.

Paul Krogh Obituary
Paul J. Krogh, 35
A memorial service for Paul J. Krogh, 35, of Los Angeles, Calif., will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 11, at First Lutheran Church in Blair. Mr. Krogh died Nov. 13, 2003.

Paul Joel Krogh was born Aug. 4, 1968, and eight days later, became the adopted son of Bob and Joan Krogh. He was baptized and confirmed his faith at First Lutheran Church in Blair. He attended Blair Public Schools from kindergarten through high school, and graduated in 1987.

He attended Dana College for three years then, wanting to go overseas, transfered to the New England College branch campus in Arundel, England, where he graduated in 1992. He lived and worked in Las Vegas, Nev., for nine years. In 2002, he moved to Los Angeles, where he was living at the time of his death.

He shared an ongoing interest in airplanes and travel with Timmy Mann, his good friend and fellow classmate. In addition to visiting many major sites in the United States, he also went to Mexico, Canada, Jordan, Israel, Egypt, Germany, Spain, Portugal, England, Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Italy, France, the Canary Islands, Tokyo, and Hong Kong.

He is survived by his parents, Bob and Joan Krogh of Blair; sister, Ann Willingham; nephews,Connor and Ian Willingham; and a host of relatives and friends whom he dearly loved.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Dana College Student Travel Fund, First Lutheran Church, or the charity of the donor?s choice.
Ted Wiese Obituary
Theodore D. Wiese, 35
Theodore D. Wiese, 35, of Lincoln, died Sunday, Nov. 28, 2004, as the result of an automobile accident near Waco, Neb.

Also killed in the accident were his significant other, Evette McPherson, and her son, Tyler Tardy.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3, at the First United Methodist Church in Blair. Interment will be in the Kennard Cemetery.

Theodore David Lee Wiese was born April 5, 1969, in Blair. He was a 1987 graduate of Blair High School, where he participated in a number of sports, including baseball, golf and bowling, and was a member of the speech and debate teams. As a senior in high school, he enlisted in the Army Reserves. He was honorably discharged due to a knee injury.

He was a student of the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, and earned a degree from Southeast Community College in Lincoln. He was employed as the systems administrator of Corvel in Omaha.

He was joined in life by Evette McPherson, and her son, Tyler Tardy. He was an enthusiast of politics and of sports of any kind, especially the Nebraska Cornhuskers and the Pittsburgh Steelers, playing softball, golfing and bowling. His passion, however, was his family.

He is survived by his father and stepmother, Darrell and Sharon Wiese of Omaha, mother and stepfather, Cindy and Sam Bedke of North Platte; grandmother, Phylis Hancock of Fremont; brothers, Tim Wiese of Lincoln and Curtis Wiese of Tekamah; sisters, Angie Wiese of North Platte and Rebecca Ratliff of North Platte; a niece, three nephews; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alfred and Jane Wiese of Kennard, and grandfather, Harry Hancock of Fremont.
